Square Aluminium Hoops for Garden Tunnel Cloches offer a practical and durable solution for creating protective growing tunnels, cloches and mini polytunnels, helping to extend the cropping season while protecting fruit and vegetable crops from damage caused by weather, birds and pests. Designed for use in raised beds or open soil, they provide additional growing space and support healthier, more productive harvests throughout the season.

Manufactured from strong aluminium, these hoops are built for long-term seasonal use and can be reused year after year without loss of performance. Their robust construction makes them ideal for creating flexible crop protection systems, allowing fleece to be used during colder periods to support early growth, before switching to netting to protect against birds and insect damage as crops develop.

Each hoop stands at an erected height of 80cm (2ft 7in) and measures 1.15m (3ft 9in) in width. The actual hoop size is 92cm high by 115cm wide, designed to be pushed into the soil by approximately 12–15cm for secure and stable positioning. For best coverage and performance, hoops should be spaced at 1m intervals. A minimum 2.8m width of netting or fleece is required, with an additional 2m in length recommended to ensure full coverage of both ends of the tunnel.

Each hoop is supplied with 6 clips, allowing secure fixing of fleece, netting or polythene coverings. This makes it easy to adapt protection throughout the growing season as conditions change. Please note, this product includes hoops only and all covers are sold separately.
