Round Aluminium Hoops for Garden Tunnel Cloches offer a simple and reliable way to create protective tunnels and cloches, helping to shield fruit and vegetable crops from harsh weather, birds and garden pests while encouraging healthier, more productive growth throughout the season. Ideal for kitchen gardens and allotments, they provide flexible growing protection to support gardeners at every stage of the growing journey.

Each semi-circular hoop is manufactured from durable aluminium tubing designed for long-lasting performance, giving dependable support season after season. Supplied with secure fixing clips, the hoops make it easy to attach your preferred covering material, whether using fleece to encourage earlier crops in cooler conditions or changing to netting later in the season for ongoing crop protection.

The erected size of each hoop is approximately 1.55m wide x 800mm high (5ft 1in x 2ft 7in). The actual hoop measures 1.55m wide x 920mm high, with 12cm designed to be pushed into the soil for secure installation. For best coverage, a minimum 2.4m width of netting or fleece is required, with an additional 1.7m in length recommended to fully cover both ends of the tunnel. Hoops should be spaced approximately 1m apart for optimal structure and crop coverage.

Each hoop is supplied with four clips for securing netting or fleece in place. Designed for practical everyday use, the hoops allow gardeners to easily adapt crop protection as weather and growing conditions change through the seasons. Manufactured from 19mm diameter aluminium tubing with a 0.9mm wall thickness and 17.2mm internal diameter, they are lightweight yet strong, making them easy to position while offering dependable stability. They are also compatible with fittings used in Walk-In Fruit and Vegetable Cages, allowing integration into larger garden protection systems where required.
