Premium Walk-In Fruit & Veg Cage with Butterfly Netting is a heavy-duty, long-lasting crop protection system designed to safeguard fruit and vegetable plants from birds, butterflies and other animals while still supporting natural pollination. Built for strength and durability, it is particularly well suited to exposed garden areas where reliable, year-round protection is essential for productive growing.

The framework is constructed from exceptionally strong 27mm black powder-coated aluminium tubing, connected using galvanised steel joints for enhanced rigidity and long-term structural performance. This robust construction ensures stability in challenging weather conditions, making it a dependable choice for serious kitchen gardeners. With a generous 1.9m (6ft 3in) internal height, the structure provides ample working space, allowing you to comfortably walk in and tend to crops through every stage of growth, from planting through to harvest.

Each kit is supplied complete with all components required for full assembly, including 27mm aluminium joiners, steel joiners, side netting and roof netting, steel pegs, cable ties, end bungs, an Allen key and full instructions with diagrams. A door is included as standard and can be fitted to any side of the cage, offering flexible access to suit different garden layouts and crop arrangements.

The cage is supplied with a full netting system for complete crop protection. Soft Butterfly Netting – Black mesh (7mm x 5mm mesh) is included, designed to protect crops from butterflies and birds while still allowing airflow and enabling pollinators to access flowers. This supports healthy growth and productive harvests while maintaining a balanced growing environment. If heavy snow is forecast, the roof netting should be removed to prevent damage to the structure.
