Premium Walk-In Fruit and Vegetable Cages with Bird Netting are heavy-duty, long-lasting growing structures designed to protect fruit and vegetable crops from birds and other animals while providing generous internal space for easy access and maintenance. Built for exposed garden locations, they combine strength, practicality and reliable crop protection throughout the growing season.

The framework is manufactured from exceptionally strong 27mm black powder-coated aluminium tubing, connected using galvanised steel joints for enhanced durability and long-term structural stability. This robust construction makes the cage suitable for challenging and open garden environments where additional strength is required. The 1.9m (6ft 3in) internal height provides excellent headroom, allowing comfortable movement inside for planting, tending and harvesting crops at all stages of growth.

Each kit is supplied complete with all components required for full assembly, including 27mm aluminium joiners, steel joiners, side netting and roof netting, steel pegs, cable ties, end bungs, an Allen key and full instructions with diagrams to support straightforward construction. A door is included as standard on all cages and can be fitted to any side, offering flexible access depending on your garden layout and planting design.

The structure is supplied with a complete netting system for full protection. Bird Netting – Poultry/Fruit Netting for the sides (17mm x 17mm mesh) and black bird netting for the roof (20mm x 20mm mesh) is included, helping to protect crops from birds and animals while still allowing airflow and enabling pollinators to access flowers. The netting is designed not to trap or harm birds. If heavy snow is forecast, the roof netting should be removed to prevent damage to the structure.

For safety in exposed or windy areas, additional reinforcement such as corner brace bars may be required.
