Oh Sow Simple - Medium Carrot Seeds

Oh Sow Simple Carrot Medium Seeds are a delicious early variety, perfect for harvesting as finger carrots. With their blunt-ended, uniform roots, these carrots offer good color and excellent flavor. They are an excellent source of vitamin A and antioxidants, making them a healthy addition to your garden and diet. To grow, sow thinly outdoors where they are to crop, 1.5cm deep, directly into finely prepared, watered soil. Space rows 30cm apart. Early sowings may benefit from cloche protection. Seedlings usually appear within 14-21 days. Thin the seedlings by harvesting young carrots evenly from the row, allowing the remaining carrots to continue growing. Regular sowings made every three weeks will ensure a continuous supply of young, tender roots.
